# Elite vs Boxette GE

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Elite at 106 against Boxette GE's 7. Elite also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Boxette GE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elite has 106 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Elite ships an update weekly, Boxette GE every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
