# Magic News vs Teqani

The clearest difference is update cadence: Magic News at every 4 days against Teqani's every 3 months. Teqani's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic News sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Teqani sells 20 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magic News ships an update every 4 days, Teqani every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
