# Narrato vs AI Voice Notes

The clearest difference is monetization model: AI Voice Notes at free with in-app purchases against Narrato's subscription. AI Voice Notes also leads on review sentiment (28% vs 17%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Narrato's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Narrato sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and AI Voice Notes sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Narrato holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 53 and 45 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Narrato's written reviews are positive against 28% of AI Voice Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Narrato ships an update every 9 days, AI Voice Notes every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
