# Narrato vs Notedrafts

Narrato and Notedrafts both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of Notedrafts's written reviews are positive against 17% of Narrato's. Notedrafts also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Narrato sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Notedrafts sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Narrato against 4.8 for Notedrafts. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notedrafts has 762 ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 17% of Narrato's written reviews are positive against 81% of Notedrafts's.

Narrato ships an update every 9 days, Notedrafts every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
