# ScrollToStudy vs StudyLock

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ScrollToStudy at 183 against StudyLock's 1. ScrollToStudy also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). StudyLock's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScrollToStudy sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and StudyLock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StudyLock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScrollToStudy has 183 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of ScrollToStudy's written reviews are positive against 100% of StudyLock's.

ScrollToStudy ships an update weekly, StudyLock monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
