# Vivastream vs MangAdvice

The clearest difference is ads: Vivastream at none against MangAdvice's shown. MangAdvice's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vivastream sells 43 one-off in-app purchases and MangAdvice sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vivastream ships an update every 2 weeks, MangAdvice every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
