# Now Live‎ vs Orbit

The clearest difference is ads: Now Live‎ at none against Orbit's shown. Now Live‎ also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Orbit's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days) and ratings volume (20 vs 3). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Now Live‎ against 4.8 for Orbit. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orbit has 20 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Now Live‎ ships an update every 9 days, Orbit every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
