# LUT Lab vs E

The clearest difference is update cadence: E at every 2 days against LUT Lab's every 3 weeks. LUT Lab's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LUT Lab sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and E sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LUT Lab ships an update every 3 weeks, E every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
