# Course Organiser vs Session

The clearest difference is update cadence: Session at weekly against Course Organiser's monthly. Course Organiser's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Course Organiser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Session sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Course Organiser ships an update monthly, Session weekly. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
