# Pattrn vs ScrollWager

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pattrn at 91% against ScrollWager's 33%. Pattrn also leads on ratings volume (969 vs 4). ScrollWager's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pattrn sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ScrollWager sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScrollWager holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pattrn has 969 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Pattrn's written reviews are positive against 33% of ScrollWager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pattrn ships an update weekly, ScrollWager every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
