# MYCDRP vs Rayd8 TV

The clearest difference is ads: MYCDRP at none against Rayd8 TV's shown. MYCDRP also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.3). Rayd8 TV's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MYCDRP sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Rayd8 TV sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for MYCDRP against 5.0 for Rayd8 TV. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 2 respectively.

MYCDRP ships an update every 6 weeks, Rayd8 TV fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
