# AceSpace vs Roommates.com

AceSpace and Roommates.com both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 63% of AceSpace's written reviews are positive against 27% of Roommates.com's. AceSpace also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). Roommates.com's advantage is ratings volume (249 vs 38). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AceSpace sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Roommates.com sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for AceSpace against 4.4 for Roommates.com. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roommates.com has 249 ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two.
