# Cookbook vs BitEat

The clearest difference is ads: Cookbook at none against BitEat's shown. BitEat's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cookbook sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and BitEat sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cookbook ships an update monthly, BitEat every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
