# Palmyst vs ctrl

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Palmyst at 15.0.0 against ctrl's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Palmyst sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and ctrl sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
