# Brain Brew vs Studley

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Brain Brew at 100% against Studley's 50%. Brain Brew also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Studley's advantage is ratings volume (4.4K vs 5) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain Brew sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Studley sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brain Brew holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Studley has 4.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Brain Brew's written reviews are positive against 50% of Studley's.

Brain Brew ships an update fortnightly, Studley weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
