# iTems vs HiDay

The clearest difference is update cadence: iTems at every 5 days against HiDay's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTems sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and HiDay sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iTems ships an update every 5 days, HiDay every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
