# Routine vs Diary

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Routine at 12.0 against Diary's 15.6. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Routine sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
