# Unchaind vs Undoom

The clearest difference is rating: Unchaind at 4.8 against Undoom's 4.0. Unchaind also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (45K vs 2). Undoom's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unchaind sells 24 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Undoom sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Unchaind holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unchaind has 45K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Unchaind ships an update every 2 weeks, Undoom monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
