# IG History vs 1776

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IG History at none against 1776's 1. 1776's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 1776 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. IG History asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for IG History against 5.0 for 1776. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 1776 has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
