# Dim vs YouMind

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Dim at none against YouMind's 9. Dim also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). YouMind's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (37 vs 6). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YouMind sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Dim asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dim holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YouMind has 37 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Dim's written reviews are positive against 93% of YouMind's.

Dim ships an update every 2 months, YouMind every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
