# TallyPoints vs Checkers

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Checkers at none against TallyPoints's 1. TallyPoints's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TallyPoints sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Checkers asks for nothing beyond the download.

TallyPoints ships an update every 5 days, Checkers fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
