# CraftNote vs Speech to Text

The clearest difference is rating: CraftNote at 4.7 against Speech to Text's 3.0. CraftNote also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (4.9K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CraftNote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Speech to Text sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CraftNote holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CraftNote has 4.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CraftNote ships an update weekly, Speech to Text fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
