# Jar vs SaveTracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Jar at fortnightly against SaveTracker's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jar sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SaveTracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jar ships an update fortnightly, SaveTracker every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
