# Timing vs LiveNote

Timing and LiveNote both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of LiveNote's written reviews are positive against 81% of Timing's. LiveNote also leads on ratings volume (38 vs 2). Timing's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timing sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month and LiveNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Timing against 5.0 for LiveNote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LiveNote has 38 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Timing's written reviews are positive against 100% of LiveNote's.

Timing ships an update every 2 weeks, LiveNote weekly. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
