# Wiser5 vs Nova

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wiser5 at 75% against Nova's 0%. Wiser5 also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). Nova's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wiser5 sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Nova sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nova holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wiser5 has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Wiser5's written reviews are positive against 0% of Nova's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wiser5 ships an update every 3 days, Nova every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
