# Teleprompter vs iamDiary

The clearest difference is update cadence: iamDiary at every 3 days against Teleprompter's fortnightly. Teleprompter's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and iamDiary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Teleprompter ships an update fortnightly, iamDiary every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
