# Ourlive vs Hoo Live

The clearest difference is rating: Ourlive at 5.0 against Hoo Live's 4.1. Ourlive also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Hoo Live's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (88 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ourlive sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Hoo Live sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ourlive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hoo Live has 88 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ourlive ships an update every 2 months, Hoo Live weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
