# Leela Quest vs ShadowWrite

The clearest difference is update cadence: Leela Quest at every 10 days against ShadowWrite's every 3 weeks. Leela Quest also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Leela Quest sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and ShadowWrite sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Leela Quest ships an update every 10 days, ShadowWrite every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
