# Class Notes vs Cacatua

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cacatua at every 2 days against Class Notes's weekly. Cacatua also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Class Notes sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Cacatua sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
