# BrainDrain vs Ironset

The clearest difference is update cadence: BrainDrain at every 4 days against Ironset's every 9 days. Ironset's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BrainDrain sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Ironset sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BrainDrain ships an update every 4 days, Ironset every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
