# VetGeni vs Vetrics

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Vetrics at none against VetGeni's 1. Vetrics also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). VetGeni's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VetGeni sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $69.99 per month. Vetrics asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vetrics holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VetGeni has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
