# Blocks vs Donut Shifting

The clearest difference is update cadence: Donut Shifting at every 3 days against Blocks's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blocks sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Donut Shifting sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blocks ships an update every 2 weeks, Donut Shifting every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
