# Network+ vs Security+ Prep

The clearest difference is update cadence: Security+ Prep at weekly against Network+'s every 9 months. Network+'s advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Network+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Security+ Prep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Network+ ships an update every 9 months, Security+ Prep weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
