# Edible vs The876ix

The clearest difference is rating: The876ix at 5.0 against Edible's 4.5. The876ix also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Edible's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 1) and chart position (#209 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The876ix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Edible has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Edible ships an update weekly, The876ix fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
