# Hanly vs EraScopia

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hanly at every 2 weeks against EraScopia's every 5 months. Hanly also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hanly sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month and EraScopia sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hanly ships an update every 2 weeks, EraScopia every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
