# 3 vs Nova Poker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nova Poker at 100% against 3's 18%. Nova Poker also leads on rating (4.3 vs 3.8) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). 3's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (501 vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 3 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Nova Poker sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nova Poker holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 3 has 501 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 18% of 3's written reviews are positive against 100% of Nova Poker's.

3 ships an update every 5 weeks, Nova Poker every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
