# 3 vs 21 Trainer

The clearest difference is rating: 21 Trainer at 4.5 against 3's 3.8. 3's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (492 vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 3 sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and 21 Trainer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

21 Trainer holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 3 has 492 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

3 ships an update every 5 weeks, 21 Trainer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
