# Pulse vs AI Note Taker

The clearest difference is update cadence: AI Note Taker at every 3 weeks against Pulse's every 6 months. AI Note Taker also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1). Pulse's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pulse sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and AI Note Taker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Pulse against 5.0 for AI Note Taker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Note Taker has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pulse ships an update every 6 months, AI Note Taker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
