# VSCO Capture vs Strobfy

The clearest difference is rating: Strobfy at 5.0 against VSCO Capture's 4.4. Strobfy also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 11 days). VSCO Capture's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (225 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strobfy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. VSCO Capture asks for nothing beyond the download.

Strobfy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VSCO Capture has 225 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VSCO Capture ships an update every 11 days, Strobfy every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
