# NCE Practice Test vs AVR Projects

The clearest difference is update cadence: AVR Projects at daily against NCE Practice Test's every 3 months. NCE Practice Test's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NCE Practice Test sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AVR Projects sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NCE Practice Test ships an update every 3 months, AVR Projects daily. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
