# Glim VPN vs QuickPing VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: QuickPing VPN at 100% against Glim VPN's 0%. QuickPing VPN also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid) and ratings volume (12 vs 3). Glim VPN's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Glim VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and QuickPing VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Glim VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Glim VPN's written reviews are positive against 100% of QuickPing VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Glim VPN ships an update every 2 weeks, QuickPing VPN every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
