# FeatherNotes vs ACCESS

The clearest difference is update cadence: ACCESS at every 9 days against FeatherNotes's every 3 weeks. FeatherNotes's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FeatherNotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.39 per month and ACCESS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FeatherNotes ships an update every 3 weeks, ACCESS every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
