# The Larimore vs Chaplet

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chaplet at every 5 days against The Larimore's every 14 months. The Larimore's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Larimore ships an update every 14 months, Chaplet every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
