# DECTV DIGITAL vs Needtoday TV

The clearest difference is update cadence: DECTV DIGITAL at every 3 weeks against Needtoday TV's every 10 months. Needtoday TV's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DECTV DIGITAL sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Needtoday TV sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DECTV DIGITAL ships an update every 3 weeks, Needtoday TV every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
