# Notaforte vs VocalGYM

The clearest difference is rating: Notaforte at 4.9 against VocalGYM's 4.5. Notaforte also leads on ratings volume (516 vs 6). VocalGYM's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notaforte sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 3 months and VocalGYM sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notaforte holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notaforte has 516 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Notaforte ships an update every 3 weeks, VocalGYM every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
