# Notaforte vs NoteSwipe

The clearest difference is rating: Notaforte at 4.9 against NoteSwipe's 4.3. Notaforte also leads on ratings volume (495 vs 3). NoteSwipe's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notaforte sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 3 months and NoteSwipe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notaforte holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notaforte has 495 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Notaforte's written reviews are positive against 100% of NoteSwipe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notaforte ships an update monthly, NoteSwipe every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
