# Fibery vs Macro App

The clearest difference is rating: Fibery at 4.7 against Macro App's 4.3. Macro App's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fibery holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Fibery's written reviews are positive against 67% of Macro App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fibery ships an update every 2 months, Macro App fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
