# SameGen vs Peek

The clearest difference is rating: SameGen at 4.8 against Peek's 4.5. SameGen also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SameGen holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21 and 39 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of SameGen's written reviews are positive against 94% of Peek's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SameGen ships an update weekly, Peek fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
