# FurFolio vs VitalLedger

The clearest difference is update cadence: FurFolio at every 3 days against VitalLedger's every 10 days. FurFolio also leads on ratings volume (24 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FurFolio sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and VitalLedger sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for FurFolio against 5.0 for VitalLedger. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FurFolio has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FurFolio ships an update every 3 days, VitalLedger every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
