# DoubleCast vs Open Window

The clearest difference is update cadence: Open Window at every 5 days against DoubleCast's every 3 weeks. Open Window also leads on device support (5 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DoubleCast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Open Window sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DoubleCast ships an update every 3 weeks, Open Window every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
